THOMAS STENSTRÖM ”RÖR INTE MIN KOMPIS TURNÈ”
Med ett nytt album precis färdigt ger sig Thomas Stenström ut på en lång turné 2017. Med start i Åre den 26 januari blir det totalt 21 spelningar innan turnéavslut på Gröna Lund 19 maj.
2014 var året då Thomas Stenström slog igenom stort hos Svenska folket. Albumet Fulkultur gick guld och singeln Slå mig hårt i ansiktet skar som en kniv genom alla lager. Rakt genom allsångshäftena, indieklubbarna, karaokemaskinerna, barnen på skolavslutningarna till och med granskningsnämden fick en anmälan. Sedan dess har Thomas spenderat ett knappt år i studion med vännerna David Axelsson, Johan Jonasson och Björn Yttling, nya albumet Rör inte min kompis släpps 20 januari. Skivan är en tillbakagång till rötterna men samtidigt 100 steg framåt. Det är rocklåtar som vilar stadigt mot hemstaden Uddevallas gator men hela tiden med en kall hand i nacken som stör.
-Alla turnéer jag gjort känns på nåt som ett fuck you till alla som tvivlade. Eller rättare sagt en hyllning till alla dem som inte gjorde det. Jag har själv sållat mig till båda leden. I vardagen är jag rädd för väldigt mycket, men på scenen är jag inte rädd för något. Det är det som är målet under hela processen när jag skriver musik, säger Thomas Stenström
