THE BIG SHOW IS BACK! Start your New Years resolution with some a funny solutions! Double combo of comics and DJS on one stage! The Big Show is bringing Uppsala big laughs and big beats at Interpool Uppsala the exclusive venue for games, food, drinks and entertainment.
This night is created to bring cultures together through laughter and music. The line-up will consist of seasoned Swedish/English comics and Sweden's hottest DJS!
HOST: Yemi Afolabi (US) New Yorker and comic who started his career on stages such as The Laugh Factory and The Comedy Store in Los Angeles. Since moving to Sweden Yemi has produced shows and performed all around the country. Maybe you have seen him on TV4, Raw Comedy Club, Comedy Central Sweden or Lund Comedy Festival
THE COMICS:
Ato Karlsson (SWE) Voted rookie of the year at the 2014 Lund comedy festival. He is a promising up a comer ready to knock out crowds with comedy and fresh funny.
Christer Engqvist (SWE) The radio personality Christer can be heard every morning on Uppsala's P4 station and now you can also hear his calm cool comedy banter live at The Big Show! When he is not winning Sveriges radio's språkpris (The Swedish radios language award) he is performing all over Sweden at local clubs and festivals!
Johanna Wagrell (SWE) Winner of Raw's Amelia's Comedy Queen 2014. Has since been on comedy streak killing it on the comedy scene. One of Sweden's comics to watch, she is a great writer with solid material and strong delivery. When she is not on the radio, podcasting or performing she is vlogging on youtube. The wonderful Wagrell is here and is hilarious!
HEADLINER: SIMON GARSHASEBI (SWE) Started in 2010 but has been taking the Swedish scene by storm. Uppsals's one Simon has be seen all over Sweden on, TV4, Raw, Oslipat, and Norrabrun. When he's not killing it on stage he's on his social-media with over 100 thousand views on his funny sketches and parodies on youtube and instagram. Come see him live on The Big Show numero 2!
