The Wave Pictures släppte i februari sitt 9:onde album sedan 2006, kallat "Great Big Flamingo Burning Moon", på inflytelserika indiebolaget Moshi Moshi. Albumet producerades ihop med Billy Childish och varje ton vibrerar av upphetsning över samarbetet. Högt och modigt sjuder albumet av gnistrande garage-rock och sprudlande energi. The Line Of The Best Fit delade ut 8.5/10 i betyg, Uncut 8/10, Mojo 8/10, NME 7/10.

Lo-fi-pop likadel inspirerad av "the sound of young Scotland" som av 90-talets amerikanska underground-scen med band som Pavement, Sebadoh, Silver Jews. Let's Say We Did har släppt 2 album och 4 EP-skivor sedan starten 2008. Just nu pågår arbetet med tredje albumet och efter sommaren kommer ett första smakprov.

Lava Bangs från Göteborg är the finest grrrl/boy revolutionaries. Slammerpunk och skönsång, popmelodier och paljetter. Lite ilska, lite glamour, lagom skevt och helt fantastiskt.
