💛 The Soundtrack of Our Lives bildades i Göteborg i mitten av 90-talet som en sorts supergrupp med medlemmar från Union Carbide Productions, Nymphet Noodlers, Whipped Cream och Mindjive.
Singeln ”Instant Repeater ’99” från 1996 blev en jättehit och debutalbumet ”Welcome to the Infant Freebase” gav bandet en Grammis för Årets nykomling. Snart växte sig The Soundtrack of Our Lives ryktbarhet utanför landets gränser, inte minst fattade bröderna Gallagher i Oasis tycke och tog med Soundtrack på turné.
Tredje albumet ”Behind the Music” ledde till ett smärre genombrott i USA och 2002 nominerades de för en Grammy i kategorin Alternative rock.
Förra året valdes bandet – Ebbot Lundberg (sång), Ian Person (gitarr), Mattias Bärjed (gitarr), Martin Hederos (klaviatur), Kalle Gustafsson Jerneholm (bas) och Fredrik Sandsten (trummor) – in i Swedish Music Hall of Fame och tidigare i år gjorde de sina första spelningar tillsammans på drygt tio år.
👜 VÄSKFÖRBUD På evenemanget gäller väskförbud. Små väskor (max 40x40x20cm) OK, men kommer att genomsökas av entrévärd.
