Anla Courtis (Argentina) + Mattias Nihlén & Adam Vilgot Persson (från VED)
Den argentinske gitarristen och experimentmusikern Anla Courtis ledde kultbandet Reynols på 1990-talet och har samarbetat med en lång rad musiker, bland annat elektronmusikkompositören Pauline Oliveros och medlemmar från Acid Mothers Temple, Volcano the Bear och Sonic Youth.
Vid spelningen på Plan B samarbetar han med gitarristerna Mattias Nihlén och Adam Vilgot Persson från Malmöbandet VED. (Fler, än så länge hemliga, gästmusiker kommer också medverka.)
Som trio har man tidigare framträtt vid återkommande tillfällen sedan 2006, huvudsakligen med livemusik till argentinska stumfilmer från förra seklets början, bl.a. vid två miniturnéer i Sverige: ”Rediscovering Argentine Silent Cinema, vol I & II”.
Tillsammans skapar de suggestiva ljudlandskap med gitarrer och diverse elektronik.
Anla Courtis
(a.k.a. Alan Courtis, Courtis) f. 1972 i Buenos Aires, Argentina. Startade 1993 bandet Reynols, en grupp med mer än 100 skivsläpp på bolag runtom i världen; bland dessa inkluderat konceptuella dadaistiska projekt som ”10.000 Chicken Symphony”, ”Blank Tapes”, ”Whistling Kettle Quartet”.
Courtis har också gett ut en lång rad soloskivor och samarbetat med musiker som Pauline Oliveros, Lee Ranaldo (Sonic Youth), Damo Suzuki (Can), Makoto Kawabata (Acid Mothers Temple), Eddie Prevost (AMM), Mats Gustafsson, KK Null, Seiichi Yamamoto (Boredoms), Aaron Moore (Volcano the Bear) m.fl.

Mattias Nihlén & Adam Vilgot Persson (från VED och HALStER)
VED är ett sexmannaband från Malmö och spelar instrumental hypnotisk rockmusik i gränslandet mellan ambient, soundtracks, fri improvisation och progressiv rock. I mars 2016 släpps nya LP:n ”Omikron” på Höga Nord Rekords. Mattias Nihlén och Adam Persson spelar också tillsammans med Anders Lindsjö i improvisationstrion HALStER, som samarbetat med exempelvis amerikanske gitarristen Eugene Chadbourne och svenske saxofonisten Martin Küchen, och framträtt runtom i Sverige såväl som i Danmark och Tyskland.
