I höst kommer The Bug till Stockholm och Slakthuset för en svettig spelning den 7 oktober! Kevin Martin har gjort musik i många konstellationer och under flera namn, men The Bug kom till liv först på debuten Tapping the Conversation som komponerades tillsammans med DJ Vadim. Albumet i sig skapades som ett alternativt soundtrack till Francis Ford Coppolas mästerliga The Conversation, och gav oss en försmak på vad Martins The Bug-projekt skulle bjuda på i framtiden. Därefter har samarbetena flödat: Kevin Shields, Justin Broadrick, El-P och en mängd olika MCs är bara ett axplock av alla som velat dela idéer med den ständigt påhittiga Kevin Martin.
Som The Bug är Martin kanske mest uppmärksammad för albumet London Zoo från 2008, som i sin tur genererade en personlig invit av Trent Reznor att öppna för Nine Inch Nails på deras USA-turné. För bara några veckor sedan landade den blytunga låten The Box, som också får agera bevis på att Kevin Martin inte har slut på ideér. Långt ifrån. Bered dig på gnolande beats, snortighta rim och en upplevelse utöver det vanliga när The Bug gästar Slaktis.
