På kursen lär du dig grundläggande täljgrepp och att hantera skärande verktyg på ett säkert och effektivt sätt. Du får tälja i färskt trä och lära dig om hur träets fiberriktning används till fördel vid bearbetning av materialet. Du lär dig att välja verktyg för olika moment.Vid varje träff övar du på moment inom täljning och får en liten ”hemuppgift”.
Verktyg finns att låna på plats men för hemuppgifterna behövs egen kniv. (rekommendation på lämpliga knivar får du som deltagare innan kursstart) Material vid kurstillfällena ingår.

Kursdagar: torsdagar kl 18 – 20.30

Stiftelsen Upplandsmuseet är ett kulturhistoriskt länsmuseum för Uppsala län.
Publik verksamhet bedrivs i museibyggnaden (Akademikvarnen) och i
museivåningen professorshemmet i Walmstedtska gården i centrala
Uppsala. I Gamla Uppsala bedrivs verksamhet vid friluftsmuseet
Disagården och Gamla Uppsala museum. Dessutom finns vi på en mängd
platser i hela länet. Hemslöjd på Upplandsmuseet har i uppdrag att främja slöjdverksamheter i region Uppsala och har kurslokal i Kanikenhuset på Västra Ågatan 16. Samlingarna
förvaras i föremålsmagasinet i Morgongåva.
I kansliet på Drottninggatan finns kanslireceptionen och museibiblioteket. Här finns kontor för museets verksamheter.

I have not received my Täljning för nybörjare ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your Täljning för nybörjare tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services.
