Filmen handlar om en ung stum flicka från Pakistan som på något sätt ensamt hamnar i Indien utan pass eller tillhörigheter, men som vill tillbaka hem. En hängiven man (Salman Khan) tar på sig uppgiften att se till att den unga flickan återvänder till Pakistan så hon kan återförenas med sin familj.
