Live är Svart katt en uppvisning i punkig intensitet, kristallklar sång, febrigt intensiva basgångar och ett närmast transliknande trumspel
Elin Ottilia
Elin Ottilias musik är indie-pop/rock när det är som bäst, med rötter i både Malmö och Göteborg. Debutsingeln “mind/head” släpptes 2023 och sommaren 2024 släpptes debut-EP:n ”everything, it’s all for you”.
Hymn beskrev första singeln från EP:n såhär: ”Hur trötta vi än är på regn och rusk kan vi inte låta bli att älska detta. HYMN har tidigare beskrivit Malmöbaserade Elin Ottilia som en svensk Phoebe Bridgers och när nu andra singeln anländer manifesteras detta epitet ytterligare. I juni kommer debut-ep:n från denna talang. Något att se fram emot.”
Redan innan debut-EP:n släpptes hade Elin Ottilia blivit ett namn på Malmös livescen och har öppnat för Junior Brielle och norska Beharie på Babel. Utöver det har hon även tagit sig runt i landet och spelat i bland annat Göteborg, Lund och Umeå.
I höst kommer nästa EP, den här gången på svenska.
