Sue Sergel, född ett stenkast från Penny Lane i Liverpool, har ett gediget förflutet på den svenska bluesscenen. Med sitt uttrycksfulla musicerande blev hon på 80/90-talen en av Sveriges främsta bluesröster och bluestolkare.
Numera uppträder hon tillsammans med legenden Jimmy Olsson på ståbas och Erik Ivarsson, gitarristen som syns alltmer på den göteborgska musikscenen med sitt alltid nyskapande och virtuosa spel. Med denna konstellation har Sue lämnat bluesen bakom sig och skriver låtar i americana-genren: modern amerikansk musik men fortfarande lite ”rootsy”.
