Stuck On - AARON LEE TASJAN
Aaron Lee Tasjan har hittills gjort fem utsökta och kritikerrosade album. Han har turnerat världen över i eget namn och som gitarrist New York Dolls.
Ibland känns det som att resa i hela den amerikanska musikskatten när man lyssnar på Tasjans musik. Country, heartland rock, psykedelisk powerpop och mycket annat finns i mixen och Tasjan rör sig smidigt och obesvärat mellan de olika musikaliska strömningarna.
Tom Petty är ett namn som återkommer till en när man ska jämföra honom med någon annan artist.
Han var med och bildade och skrev allt låtmaterial för Semi Precious Weapons. 2021 blev han Grammy-nominerad för låten “Diamond Studded Shoes” som Yola spelade in och på senare tid har Tasjan producerat Mya Byrnes album "Rhinestone Tomboy (Kill Rock Stars Nashville)".
En flitig mångsysslare alltså, men framför allt en omåttligt begåvad artist, sångare, gitarrist och låtskrivare som nu äntligen återvänder till Skandinavien. Nu kommer han till oss i Östersund med band och kommer få er att tappa hakan på Jazzköket lördag den 16/11.
