Om Stockholms universitetskör
Stockholms universitetskör bildades hösten 1994 och är idag en oberoende ideell organisation som sedan hösten 2024 leds av dirigenten Alexander Damsgaard. Körens repertoar omfattar främst klassisk svensk körlyrik men sträcker sig även till andra musikstilar och genrer. Kören eftersträvar hög kvalitet och att ge publiken en stark musikalisk upplevelse, oavsett om det handlar om större konserter eller mindre uppträdanden. En gång per termin hålls vanligtvis en egen konsert, men kören bokas även också regelbundet till olika typer av evenemang såsom sjungningar till lucia och jul, födelsedagsfester, bröllop, kick-offer, företagsevent, olika ceremonier med mera. About Stockholms universitetskör
The Stockholm University Choir was founded in the autumn of 1994 and today the choir is an independent non-profit association. Since the autumn of 2024 the choir has been conducted by Alexander Damsgaard. The repertoire mainly focuses on classical Swedish choir music, however, it does also include other musical styles and genres. The choir strives for high quality and to give the audience a strong musical experience, whether it concerns big concerts or smaller performances. Normally, the choir organises its own concert one time each semester, but is also regularly hired to sing on different events such as Christmas, Lucia, birthday parties, weddings, kick-offs, company events, different ceremonies etcetera.
