Nu tar vi helg! Fredagskvällen bjuder på maffiga kammarmusikverk för något större sättningar. Stråkkvintett, sextett och avslutningsvis ett verk för fem slagverkare.
Kvällen börjar i Tyskland med Mendelssohns första stråkkvintett. Sedan förflyttar vi oss söderut till Frankrike för att höra Poulencs sextett för blåsare och piano. Vi avslutar med ett stycke för slagverksensemble skrivet av den Nya Zeeländska kompositören Psathas.
