Den unge violinisten Johan Dalene har under de senaste åren gjort internationell kometkarriär. Han turnerar över hela världen och hans inspelningar för skivbolaget BIS har belönats med prestigefyllda utmärkelser som Diapason D’Or och Record of the year.
Sitt stora genombrott fick Johan då han 2019 blev förstapristagare i den prestigefyllda Carl Nielsen tävlingen.
Säsongen 2021/22 var Johan utvald till Rising Star artist av European Concert Hall Organisation (ECHO) och gav under denna period recitaler i många av Europas mest prestigefyllda konsertsalar såsom Wiener Konzerthaus, Het Concertgebouw i Amsterdam, L’auditori i Barcelona, Elbphilharmonie i Hamburg och Cité de la Musique i Paris.
Efter medverkan på konserter i Västerlöfsta kyrka 2020 och 2021 utvaldes Johan till Anders Walls Girestastipendiat och detta är hans stipendiatkonsert. Vid sin sida har han under konserten pianisten Peter Friis Johansson.
