Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival Whisky Awards 2024
Background: Now in its 25th year, the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival has always been about whisky, music, food and fun. In 2024 there are more than 650 different events taking place throughout Speyside. Within a radius of 35 miles, over 50 distilleries are concentrated out of a total of around 130 in Scotland and we have visitors to the Festival from over 30 different countries.
Whisky Awards: The awards are sponsored by Forsyths Group, the company responsible for building many of the iconic pot stills in which Speyside malt whiskies are distilled. On 26th March 2023, over 40 whiskies were submitted for this competition. An expert judging panel of whisky experts whittled down the entries in a blind nosing and tasting to these final 8. These 4 categories are then judged by the public at a number of blind tastings to determine the outright winners. This is an eagerly anticipated annual contest at which the public make the final choice. In previous years whisky enthusiasts and Festival goers have voted for what they consider to be the best drams.
Before you are the eight finalists Speyside whiskies divided into four categories, with two whiskies in each category.
The four categories are:

- 13 to 17 Years Old
- 18 Years and Over
- Non-Age Statement

På menyn hittar du allt ifrån klassiska pubrätter som högrevsburgare och Fish n’ Chips till mindre smårätter och välsmakande desserter, och givetvis kan du alltid hitta vegetariska och veganska mat- och dryckesalternativ. Menyn varieras och byts ut flera gånger om året efter säsong.
