Zubaida Solid (aka Solid Zue) beskrivs bäst med orden ”kraftfull stämma i liten kropp". Under de senaste åren har man kunnat se henne på Stockholms bluesscen och i diverse musik-sammanhang, med bland annat Ladies Got The Blues, Among Lynx, Max Schultz trio, Siena Root m.fl.
Med inspiration av stora röster inom Blues, Soul och 70-talets rockera, sammanflätar hon sitt soul-bluesiga sound med lekfull improvisation och tonvis av attityd.
"The Crooked Teeth" utmärks av ett svängigt kraftpaket som består av en rysligt tight bas- och trumsektion som spelat ihop sedan barnsben i glada Hudiksvall. De kompletteras i sin tur av två gitarrister som delar på både förnamn och sitt intresse för gitarr. Inspirationen hämtas ur en bred palett av genres så som soul, jazz, funk, rock, country, roots rock - alltsammans integrerat med bluesig röd tråd.
