"20 Från 40" är titeln på den nya samlingsplattan med SKY HIGH som släpps fredag 13 mars, på LP, CD och streams på digital plattform, typ Spotify etc
Den spänner över fyra decennier med avstamp tidigt 1980 och singeln "Säj Nej". Det är en variant, med svensk text, av Jimi Hendrix tolkning av New Orleans gitarristen / sångaren Earl King's "Come On, Let The Good Times Roll".
De tjugo skivspåren ackompanjeras av mängder av bilder och varje låt presenteras i utförlig text av Clas Yngström, Bandets gitarrist / sångare och Primus Motor.
Dubbel-LP'n har ett påkostat vikuppslag (Gatefold) och ett åttasidigt häfte med text och fina bilder ur bandets historia, med tyngdpunkt på de utvalda 20 låtarna. CD'n, även den en dubbel, har ett tolvsidigt instickshäfte.
SKY HIGH turnerar under våren runt om i landet i samband med releasen. Sättningen är den klassiska från 1985, med Marcus Källström - trummor och Arne Blomqvist - elbas. Till hösten planeras en skiva med nyskrivet originalmaterial, det blir gruppens 17 album.
Clas har även släppt en storbandsplatta med musik av Jimi Hendrix, två plattor med Södertäljegruppen "Big Tex Three", med Stoffe Sundlöf, Berra Pettersson och Janne Paltman från klassiska "Chicago Express", en instrumental med friformrockgruppen "Dovra", en akustisk blues / visplatta platta med folksångerskan Malin Foxdal samt en vinyl-EP med dalabluesarna "Clas Yngströms BLUE DEVILS", där även gamle Sky Hightrummisen, Uffe Åhman, ingår.
Clas är sedan 6 år uppgraderad från kategorin "Great Blues Artist" till "Legendary Blues Artist" i amerikanska Blues Hall Off Fame.
