Josefina Cerda har i sin examenskonsert försökt få sina olika musikaliska världar att mötas – en inte helt lätt uppgift.
Med rötter i både Chile och Sverige har Josefina Cerda alltid stått med fötterna i två kulturer. Genom åren, och genom den fem år långa utbildningen på KMH, har därför de musikaliska influenserna varit många. Att koka ner dessa till ett program på 30 minuter har varit en process som tagit mer än ett år och beslutsångesten har varit stor. Många idéer har kommit och gått, justerats, deformerats, skrotats och återuppstått och tillslut resulterat i ett spretigt program där skogen möter havet, möter klubben. I en hyllning till livet och alla känslorna, det egna ursprunget och dessa fem års personliga bedrifter och förluster hoppas hon på att beröra publiken, även om hon är medveten om att den som löper störst risk att bryta ut i gråt denna högtidliga kväll är hon själv.
