Han har varit en av de mest tongivande artisterna på den engelska grimescenen det senaste decenniet. Norra Londons mänskliga kärnkraftverk som de senaste åren flyttat gränserna och gått från att vara en brittisk angelägenhet till ett internationellt toppnamn i rapvärlden. Den 30 januari kommer Skepta till Nobelberget i Stockholm.
Tillsammans med artister som Wiley och JME har Skepta inte bara cementerat grime på musikkartan, utan också gjort denna genre till en kokande kittel som lockar tusentals nya frälsta för varje dag som går. Londons ytterkanter är nu ett musikens Jerusalem och Skepta dess Messias.
Med förra årets megahit ”Shutdown” har hans karriär tagits till helt nya höjder. Låten har mer än åtta miljoner spelningar på Spotify och nio miljoner visningar på YouTube och framgången lär inte stanna där.
Spelningen på Nobelberget blir hans första på svensk mark på många år och låt oss enas om att Stockholm har väntat på det här länge.
Amy Becker (Radar Radio, UK) -kommer och blessar oss med riktigt feta tunes från Londonscenen. Tillsammans med Mackan Price och 1G kommer hon se till att festen fortsätter från öppning till stängning!
