Simon Hansson (b. 1996) is a composer and sound artist based in Stockholm. His minimalist work has its roots in slow, organic movements of sound that form intricate patterns within dense sonic structures. He writes both acoustic and electroacoustic pieces with an unembellished approach to timbre, texture, and form. His recent work focuses on waveshaping synthesis, feedback, and algorithmic composition.
In addition to his compositional practice, Simon runs the concert series and label "A Sudden Point of Balance" (ASPB).
