Marika Markström är en tonsättare och audiovisuell konstnär f. 1987, nyligen utbildad i elektroakustisk komposition på Kungliga Musikhögskolan. Hon
har även en master i fri konst. Hennes uttryck har alltid varit flermedialt, ofta i scenkonstinspirerade ruminstallationer och framföranden.
Musikaliskt rör sig Marika över flera genrer i gränslandet mellan elektroakustiskt
och samtida konstmusik. Kontraster mellan hårt – skört och artificiellt – naturligt återkommer ofta, liksom i hennes konst. Hon använder oftast sig själv som multiinstrumentalist och sångerska men ibland inkorporerar hon andra musiker. Ordlös arkaisk sång, stråkar, elgitarr, metalliska klanger, maskiner och mörka syntar är några centrala element från det senaste årtiondet. Hon använder även många andra instrument i sina produktioner, såsom slagverk, piano, orgel och cembalo – ibland elektroniskt förlängda.
Marikas musikaliska och konstnärliga idéer uppstår ofta tillsammans med existentiella och konceptuella influenser, vilka avspeglas i titlar och poetiskt mångbottnade uttryck. Framförallt intresserar det henne hur idéer sprids och materialiseras – hur (o)medvetna mekanismer inom jaget och omvärlden samverkar och utkristalliserar sig.
Framöver kommer ett album med PLX Records som gett ut några singlar under hennes artistnamn DMN7.

I have not received my Skaiv: DMN7 ticket via email. What should I do?
The first thing to do is check your spam/junk filters and inboxes. Your Skaiv: DMN7 tickets were sent as an attachment and can be thought of as spam by some email services. The approval of refunds is entirely at the event organiser’s discretion, and you should get in contact with the event organiser to discuss what options are available to you.
