Vi har äran att få husera ännu en Romprovning med Daniel di Zazzo från Herida Brands, Arboga i stämningsenlig miljö.
Rom må vara söt, men det kan knappast sägas om dess historia, som rymmer allt från slaveri till pirater och blodiga krig.
Ingen annan spritsort har så mycket på sitt samvete som rom.
Men det finns heller ingen annan spritsort som njutits i så stora mängder världen över.
Christofer Columbus gjorde sin andra resa från Kanarieöarna till Västindien 1493, den här gången med sockerrör i lasten.
Växten planterades på Hispaniola , Puerto Rico, Jamaica och Kuba som visade sig vara det idealiska klimatet......
Det finns så oändligt mycket att utforska om denna ädla dryck som doftar lika fantastiskt och
komplext som den smakar.
Provningar tar ca.1-1,5 timmar och startar med en kort genomgång av rommens historia samt tillverknings-process. Varje rom som provsmakas har en egen historia värd att berättas. Vi testar oss sedan tillsammans igenom de olika rommerna för att hitta dess unika dofter och smaktoner.
