Rome Is Not A Town från Göteborg debuterade 2015 med den ensidiga vinyl-7-an ”Stupid”, som följdes av fler singlar och EP:n “Careful Like You Cared”. Debutalbumet, “It’s a Dare” släpptes på Startracks 2017 och blev med sin larmiga indierock snabbt en favorit för alla med kärlek till noisefyllda gitarrer och furiöst driv. Skivan hyllades i svensk och internationell press, och bandet belönades bland annat med tre stycken nomineringar till Gaffa-priset.
Under 2018 har bandet varit ute på en ständigt pågående turné som bland annat inkluderat framträdanden på SXSW i Austin, TX, Roskildefestivalen, Xpo North, Malmöfestivalen, Liseberg, samt ett flertal Tysklandsdatum och support-gig till Thåström och Hellacopters.
Under hösten arbetar bandet med material till nästa album och gör parallellt ett antal väl valda spelningar i Sverige och Tyskland.

Det har varit tyst om indiebandet Tyred Eyes sedan det ambitiösa kortfilmsprojektet Arms 2015 men nu är de tillbaka! I november 2018 kommer nya singeln som är det första smakprovet från albumet som släpps nästa år.Tyred Eyes har breda och spridda influenser och bandet har sedan starten 2009 alltid försökt hitta nya vägar för att utveckla musiken. Det nya albumet har spelats in i Welfare Sounds
Studios i Göteborg av producenterna Olle Björk och Per Stålberg. Inspelningen har pågått vid olika sessioner sedan 2016 och det nära samarbetet med producentduon har nu resulterat i ett album som visar upp ytterligare nya sidor hos Tyred Eyes.
