SVART KATT:
Svart katt är punkbandet som inte riktigt identifierar sig med punkscenen. Trots det har få svenska band blivit så respekterade för sin ärlighet, uppriktighet och råhet. Allt som definierar punken.
Hittills har det ofta resulterat i låtar som klockar in på under två minuter, men på nya albumet Svart katt, som släpptes den 4 november, är det faktiskt flera låtar som är över tre minuter långa.“Vi försöker aldrig göra något bara för att fylla ut. Finns det inget syfte så tar vi bort det, så har vi alltid gjort. Men finns det ett syfte med att en låt blir lång så får den bli lång.”För första gången har bandet själva spelat in och producerat. Det var inte planerat, men de hade känt att de ville göra något annorlunda mot tidigare. Det är trummisen Micke som har skött både inspelning och mix. Fokus har legat på att låta lika fett som de gör när de spelar live. Samtidigt innehåller skivan mer synthar och har ett lite hårdare och kallare sound.
Svart katt är Micke (trummor), Robin (bas) och Johan (gitarr, sång).
BRATTLAND:
Ni känner dem sen förr och vi förväntar oss stordåd den här gången! Med nyinspelat material kommer de lyfta taket på Åre Ölkafé och öppna för Svart Katt som sen intar scen.
