Rhapsody Of Fire är ett italienskt symphonic power metal-band som grundades av Luca Turilli och Alex Staropoli. Bandet satte standarden för en hel genre och startade sin karriär på mitten av 90-talet. Deras debutalbum "Legendary Tales" gjorde ett enormt intryck på musikscenen och bandet blev en världsomspännande favorit bland fansen. Efter juridiska problem bytte de namn till Rhapsody Of Fire år 2003 men fortsatte att släppa musik regelbundet. År 2012 bestämde bandledarna och huvudkompositörerna Alex Staropoli och Luca Turilli att gå skilda vägar: medan Luca bildade "Luca Turilli's Rhapsody" för att starta ett nytt äventyr som ännu mer utforskade filmliknande ljudlandskap - fortsatte Staropoli, Fabio Lione, Alex Holzwarth, Oliver Holzwarth och nya gitarristen Roby De Micheli med Rhapsody Of Fire, och i den mer klassiska och tunga riktningen som fansen älskar så mycket.
Efter att nyligen ha annonserat sin nya lineup (tillskottet av nya sångaren Giacomo Voli och trummisen Manu Lotter) har Rhapsody Of Fire nyligen spelat in sina största klassiska låtar från "Rhapsody"-åren och släppt albumet "Legendary Years". Detta album återbesöker en samling av låtar skrivna och producerade under bandets första fem år och har fått en ny otrolig ljudbild. 14 episka låtarsom är helt om-inspelade! Alla trummor, bas, gitarrer, tangentbord, sång, episka körer, operakörer och flera klassiska instrument har spelats in på nytt. "Legendary Years" finns tillgänglig som Digipak och begränsad färgad vinyl."Att spela in gamla historiska låtar är inte så vanligt bland band eftersom det förmodligen finns en brist på självförtroende eller för att, för vissa musiker och fans, ska inte röras vid det som tillhör det förflutna.
