Söderkårens Musikkår, med dirigent Torgny Hanson, från
Frälsningsarmén på Hornsgatan anordnar sin traditionella brassfest med inbjudna
gäster. En tradition sedan 1993 och detta år första gången i Eric Ericsonhallen.
I år får vi lyssna till gästande solisten
trumpetaren/kornettisten Kevin Ashman från London. Kevin har examen i
dirigering och trumpet från Trinity College of Music, London. Han har framträtt
som solist i USA, Canada och på många platser i Europa. Kevin kommer bland annat
att framföra 2: a och 3:e satsen ur Hummels trumpetkonsert .
Från Göteborg kommer ett av Sveriges bästa brassband,
Betlehemskyrkans Musikkår Göteborg. Dirigenter är Anders Lundin och David
Glänneskog.
De båda musikkårerna och solisten kommer ge ett omväxlande
och fullmatat program som sträcker sig över många olika genrer.
