Rhapsody in Brass
är ett populärt årligen återkommande brassevent i Stockholm som arrangeras av Söderkårens Musikkår (Frälsningsarmén). Årets gäster är ny korade ”svenska mästarna” inom brassband SOLNA BRASS, som varit gäster vid detta evenemang ett antal gånger under årens lopp. De dirigeras av sin dirigent Emil Björklund.
Dessutom får vi lyssnar till två av vårt lands finaste brassmusiker, båda från Kungliga Hovkapellet, Kent Jonsson på kornett och Mikael Carlsson på eufonium. Detta är extra festligt eftersom de båda har sina musikaliska rötter inom Frälsningsarméns brassbandmusik.
Söderkårens Musikkår medverkar förstås också under sin dirigent Torgny Hanson.
Välkommen till Eric Ericson-hallen på Skeppsholmen i Stockholm den 18 februari kl 1900.
