About the artist:
"YOU NEVER QUITE KNOW WHAT YOU WILL GET" heter debutskivan från Olle Lannér Risenfors Kvartett, som denna kväll släpps på Varva Records. Precis som titeln antyder rör det sig om musik som ständigt överraskar – både publiken och musikerna själva. I centrum ställs spontanitet när kvartetten improviserar sina arrangemang och låter ögonblicket styra musiken. Nya delar uppstår, låtformer kastas om, musikaliska roller förflyttas – något skört exploderar och något intensivt får andas ut. Det är musik med närvaro – direkt från hjärtat till publiken.
Kvartetten bildades som en del av Olles examensarbete vid Kungliga Musikhögskolan i Stockholm. Debutskivan, som denna kväll firas, är inspelad live på Rönnells Antikvariat.
Olle Lannér Risenfors är en Stockholmsbaserad basist och kompositör, verksam med en bred skara av både Sveriges mer och mindre kända jazzmusiker. Detta är hans skiv- och banddebut med ett projekt i eget namn.

The doors open at 19:00 and close when the concert starts. The concert starts at 20:00.
Seats are not numbered - We have room for about 40 people sitting and 50 people standing so if you have a preference make sure to arrive early. 🌈
