Ingen av medlemmarna i The Bongo Club har ens fyllt 25 men sedan första släppet 2014 så har Boråsbandet gjort över 250 spelningar i 18 länder och när de den 23 februari släpper sin nya platta ”Anybody Have A Lighter?” så kommer listan på svettiga dansgolv, länder och kontinenter att göras betydligt längre.
The Bongo Club är en liveupplevelse som stannar kvar i minnet riktigt länge. Texter om livet – kärlek och glädje, hat och uppgivenhet, drivande gitarrer och en intensitet som är omöjlig att värja sig emot gör The Bongo Club till en rock’n’roll-show du inte vill missa.
RELEASEFESTEN // LE GRAND BONGO KLUBB
Releasefesten kommer att hållas på Viva i Borås. Det vattenhål där bandmedlemmarna själva allt som oftast ses vattna sina strupar är självfallet också den plats där historia ska skrivas.
Lite tidigare under kvällen så kommer också bandet Lavette att spela. Vi kommer inte att berätta mer om dem än såhär – tänk er ett jättebra band. Så låter det! Eftersom att vi vet hur jävla bra det är och du inte kan kontrollera den uppgiften på annat sätt än att se till att vara där så tänker vi att det blir så himla härligt sen när ni alla: ”Jag vet inte vad som hände men det där var bland det bästa jag sett”.
Bakom skivspelarna denna afton hittas Amelie och Emilia från Trampstamp + gäster. Det kommer att bjudas på pop, rock och så mycket feta dängor att du aldrig kommer vilja lämna dansgolvet.
Det här är inte bara en releasefest, det är Le Grand Bongo Klubb – en ambition att skapa en Boråskväll där vi kan skåla, skråla och ha obehärskat jävla roligt in the name of rock’n’roll.
