Vi kan inte säga det nog många gånger: Cleo är en boss. Under våren besöker hon fyra svenska städer och det räcker med att slänga ett öga på hennes prishylla för sina liveframträdanden för att fatta att det är något en inte bör missa.
Cleo. Svenska rappens mamma. Med dryga 10 år på hiphop-scenen har hon gjort musik med framgångsrika artister som Linda Pira, Adam Tensta, Alina Devecerski, Looptroop Rockers, Kristin Amparo, Syster Sol, Mwuana och Trainspotters.
Om inte hennes euforiska publik är bevis nog på att hon är en av Sveriges främsta och mest respekterade liveartister, är hennes prishylla en stark garanti. År 2015 vann hon titeln ”Årets liveakt” på Kingsizegalan och 2016 vann hon ”Årets live” på Manifestgalan. Hon var även nominerad till ”Guldmicken” på P3 Guld-galan 2015. Ingen lämnas oberörd när Cleo står på scen!
Cleo släppte sin första EP år 2007, som följdes upp med debutalbumet 2011 och den prisbelönade EP:n ”Vem E Han” tillsammans med Kristin Amparo 2014. Däremellan har hon släppt flertalet singlar. I maj kommer nästa EP "Cleo Är En Boss" som precis som "Vem E Han" är producerad av Broke ’N Tipsy.
Just nu är Cleo aktuell med serien ”Femtastic - Girls Up Front” på SVT och också en av huvudpersonerna i nästa säsong av succéprogrammet ”Lyckliga Gatan” som har premiär på TV4 i april 2016.
PROMOE
Mårten ”Promoe” Edh har sedan 1992 figurerat som en av huvudpersonerna i ett av Sveriges största och mest inflytelserika hiphopband – Looptroop Rockers. År 2009 tog han hela Sverige under sina vingar med ”Svennebanan” och dess efterföljande album. Efter flitiga Looptroop-släpp och år av turnerande är Promoe nu aktuell med sitt sjunde soloalbum, som släpps IDAG! Titelspåret “Fult folk” gästas av flerfaldigt Grammis- och P3 Guldnominerade Hurula och är det första smakprovet från ett album som med all säkerhet kommer bli ett av de viktigaste svenska släppen 2016.
Albumet är producerat av bandmedlemmen Magnus “Embee” Bergkvist och övriga gäster på albumet är bland andra Aleks, Rosh och Ayla Shatz.
Sju år har gått sedan Promoe senast åkte på turné som soloartist. Den som väntar på något gott, säger ordspråket och gott blir det garanterat när Promoe åter erövrar landets scener, radioapparater och spellistor.
