För sjätte året i rad bjuder Kungl. Musikhögskolan i Stockholm högtidligen in till Preludium inför Nobel i vår fantastiska Kungasal.
Vid årets Preludium inför Nobel lyfter vi Nobels fredspris och Dag Hammarskjöld som tilldelades priset postumt 1961.
Med musikens kraft vill vi under årets Preludium lyfta freden tillsammans med diplomat Jan Eliasson och Lena Lid Falkman, forskare vid Handelshögskolan i Stockholm.
Kungl. Musikhögskolans lärare, studenter och forskare kommer tillsammans med våra ciceroner och fantastiska musiker lyfta både konsten och vetenskapen kopplat till Dag Hammarskjölds gärning att upprätta fred. Dag Hammarskjöld var svensk nationalekonom och diplomat som tjänstgjorde som FN:s generalsekreterare från april 1953 till sin död i september 1961. På samma sätt som Dag Hammarskjöld hyllats för sitt engagemang för fred och internationella samarbeten är vår Kunskapskonsert en högtid som hyllar musikens viktiga roll för att möjliggöra fredsbevarande krafter i världen. Kunskapskonserten är ett koncept som vi byggt vid KMH där musiken möter vetenskapen - en tradition vi är mycket stolta över.
Välkommen till årets musikaliska resa genom Dag Hammarskjölds liv, ett Nobelpreludium som vi hoppas kommer att beröra många. Tillsammans med KMH:s studenter och lärare framförs musik i Dag Hammarskjölds anda!
