A dramatised reading from the Sara Stridsberg Play ”konsten att falla”, set as a rehearsal for an actor named 'K'. The play is inspired by the two characters from the well-known documentary ”Grey Gardens”.
A mother and daughter live in a house, which is falling apart. They're isolated from society and have a world of their own, the daughter returned from New York a couple of years ago to help her mother, but now is trying to break free from her.
In the meantime, 'K' is fighting to get back on the stage, having been absent for a couple of years. She is also dealing with her project in life, being free from her own mother.
