Häng med den dysfunktionella familjen som håller på att förbereda en stor födelsedagsfest i somriga Danmark inför familjens överhuvud, Helge Klingenfeldt, som fyller 60 år. Allt går som planerat, tills en overklig hemlighet avslöjas som inte bara påverkar festen framöver, men hela familjens framtid.
