Hans Pålsson är en av våra största svenska pianister och har satt stor prägel på svenskt musikliv under flera decennier. Han har gett konserter över hela världen med dirigenter som Sixten Ehrling och Esa-Pekka Salonen och är sedan 1987 professor i piano vid Musikhögskolan i Malmö. Hans Pålsson är kanske mest känd för sina tolkningar av wienklassiska verk och musik från 1900-talet. Över 60 nyskrivna verk har tillägnats honom och under kvällen får vi smakprov både ur den klassiska och den nyare repertoaren. För den breda massan blev Hans Pålsson mest känd genom tv-progammet I döda mästares sällskap, som sändes i fem omgångar åren 1993 till 2000. Där spelade och berättade han om olika verk och deras upphovsmän på ett sätt som fängslade hela Sverige! På samma sätt kommer Hans Pålsson att guida oss genom kvällens konsert.
