Hej alla hundägare där ute!
Att våra hundar har olika personligheter råder det väl ingen tvekan om, och många känner sin hund bättre än de känner sig själva.
Men förstår ni de bakomliggande orsakerna till er hunds personlighet?
Ni har nu möjlighet att få delta i Dogs & Monsters forskningsprojekt baserat på C-BARQ testet. Detta test är framtaget av Dr. James A. Serpell vid University of Pennsylvania.
Testet bygger på ett antal frågor som ska besvaras så uppriktigt som möjligt av någon som känner hunden väl.
Frågorna är framtagna för att ge hundägare och yrkesverksamma standardiserade utvärderingar av hundens temperament och beteende. I oktober (2024) höll SKK en föreläsning om Mentalitet - arv och miljö. Föreläsare var Erling Strandberg. Där presterade han C-BARQ, och hur väl resultaten av denna undersökning stämde överens med de resultat man fick vid BPH. Att förstå sin hunds drifter är första steget till att kunna arbeta MED drifterna istället för emot.
Du får din hunds personlighet sammanställt i ett överskådligt dokument tillsammans med förklaringar över vilka drifter som kan tänkas ligga bakom hundens beteenden.

Obs! Denna personlighetsbeskrivning är endast avsedd för att öka din egen förståelse (eller bekräfta det du redan vet) om din hund. Testet ersätter inte MH, MT, BPH eller andra officiellt erkända tester. Testet är inte heller tillämpbart på hundar under 6 månader (rekommenderad från ca 1 år).
