”Hypermusikaliskt, melankoliskt och bubblande roligt” löd recensionerna när föreställningen sattes upp våren 2001. Opus 5, som samma år fick Nöjesguidens pris för bästa scenkonst, är en poetisk enmanscabarét fylld av fysisk och musikalisk närvaro.
I den nya Opus 5
återuppväcker David Sperling Bolander stycket, både för de som vill
uppleva clownnumren igen och för nya generationer som inte ens fick
chansen. I föreställningen får publiken bland annat ta del av en konsert
på leksakspiano, yxdans, buktaleri och pekingopera – ett tragikomiskt
artisteri i klass med Victor Borge och Charlie Chaplin.
Opus 5 och Opus 5 – pånyttfödelsen är resultatet av ett flera decennier långt samarbete och pågående samtal mellan teaterpedagogen och regissören Sören Larsson och David Sperling Bolander.
