Charlies högsta önskan är ett par nya skor. Så när brevet från mormor kommer, blir han överlycklig.
På sin födelsedag ska Charlie få precis vilka skor han vill! Mormor tipsar om en viss skoaffär, där det arbetar en mycket speciell skomakare. Där kommer han att få hjälp att hitta precis det han önskar sig. Men vem är denna skomakare egentligen? Och vad är det som mormor inte berättar?
