NOVO Quartet är en ung prisvinnande, polsk-dansk stråkkvartett med framtiden för sina fötter. Kvartetten formades 2018 i Köpenhamn och består av violinisterna Kaya Kato Møller och Nikolaik Vasili Nedergaard, violasten Daniel Sledzinski och cellisten Signe Ebstrup Bitsch.
Ensemblen studerar på Det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium och är protegéer till den eftertraktade läraren Tim Frederiksen, tidigare mentor till the Danish String Quartet och the Nightingale String Quartet.
2019 gjorde kvartetten sitt intåg på den internationella scenen i Shanghai och därtill som representanter för Det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium vid den holländska musik- och arkitekturfestivalen Tilburg is Mooi. Kvartetten har därefter blivit eftertraktad på både den nationella och internationella scenen och blivit inbjuden till festivaler som bl.a Trondheims internationella kammarmusikakademi och Arctic Chamber Music Festival. NOVO Quartet har trots sin unga ålder redan visat sig vara en framstående kvartett med mycket lovande framtid. Nyligen vann de andra pris, plus juryns specialpris på Trondheim International Chamber Music Competition 2021. Tidigare samma år fick de äran att motta Léonie Sonning Talent Prize och 2020 vann kvartetten det ärofyllda förstapriset i P2 Chamber Music Competition!
