Norrbotten Big Band möter KMH Jazz Orchestra i en konsert som blir kulmen på de två dagars workshops de har ihop. De kommer att framföra nyskriven musik av finska kompositören Outi Tarkiainen från Rovaniemi, hett eftertraktad i många olika sammahang. NBB har redan vid ett flertal tillfällen samarbetat med Tarkiainen, senast under förra året när hon var deras huskompositör. NBB har också gett ut en CD "Into the woodland silence" med Outi (2013) och en ny är på gång med just den musik hon skräddarsydde åt dom under sitt år som "Composer - in - Residence.
