OM NICOLAI DUNGER
Nicolai Dunger är tillbaka med albumet "Arkebuseringen av egot", hans första på etiketten Hi-hat Music. En högst personlig skiva, tio urstarka låtar, med lika starka texter som många kommer att känna igen sig i. Sedan 1996 har Nicolai Dunger släppt ett tjugotal album under eget namn, som Taste of Ra och som ÅÄÖ. Lika rastlöst som Nicolai tagit sig igenom genres under sin stora katalog, lika fokuserad är “Arkebuseringen av egot“.
Skivan är självbiografisk och utelämnande i sin karaktär. En fortsättning på "Edith Södergran plattan" Nicolai sjunger Edith, kan man säga. Dokumentär i sin natur utan smink – Nicolai Dunger
Utropstecknet är gästartisten och legendaren Torkel Rasmusson (blå tåget), som sjunger på en låt samt bidrar med recitation av en dikt som bär namnet, "De högsta tornet" - Nicolai Dunger

Skivan är producerad av Nicolai själv tillsammans med Bebe Risenfors, (som bland annat jobbat med Tom Waits), och är inspelad på Österlen i Sound & Music (S&M).

Live har Nicolai Dunger med sig sin gamla parhäst Tomas Tjärnqvist, producenten Bebe Risenfors samt två medlemmar av sann proggadel; Nikke Ström (Nationalteatern) och Bengt Berger (Archimedes Badkar).
Nicolai Dunger har tidigare jobbat och turnerat med artister som Will Oldham, Mercury Rev, Calexico, Cat Power, Esbjörn Svensson Trio, Garth Hudson, Georg Riedel samt komponerat musik för teater och opera.
