En multimediaföreställning om Neil Youngs ikoniska dikeskörning efter albumet Harvest.
En Storytelling-Livedokumentär-Konsert om de tre mörka och starka albumen Time Fades Away, On The Beach och Tonight’s The Night.
1972 har Neil Young erövrat världen med albumet Harvest och låten ’Heart of Gold’. En nära väns död och en vilja att inte låsas in av framgången tar Neil ut på ”turnén från helvetet” som 1973 ger oss liveplattan Time Fades Away.
Ännu en vän tas av heroinet. Som ”a drunken Irish wake” spelas albumet Tonight’s The Night in och följs av en, för publiken, förvirrande turné.
Och ännu mer förvirring, plattan förblir osläppt under lång tid och albumet On The Beach hinner spelas in och släppas 1974, också den plattan fylld med långsam downer-känsla och bär textmässigt uttryck av utanförskap och melankoli.
1975 släpps till slut Tonight’s The Night och därmed är det som senare kommer att benämnas ’The Ditch Trilogy’, ’Dikestrilogin’, komplett.
Föreställningen består av tre byggstenar som hela tiden avlöser varandra i ett varierat flow: Berättandet, visuella projektioner (liveklipp, intervjuklipp, bilder) samt låtar som framförs med sång, akustisk gitarr, elgitarr och munspel.
