Om Ensemble Mare Balticum:
Musik i Syds Ensemble Mare Balticum bildades i Ystad 1989 och idag har de Kristianstad som bas. Ensemblen spelar på tidstrogna instrument och är specialiserade på musik från renässans och tidig barock, gärna hämtad från området kring Östersjön, men är inte främmande för vare sig äldre eller nutida musik. Musikerna har lång erfarenhet av att presentera såväl musikhistoriskt pedagogiska program för barn och unga, som att framföra renodlade konserter för vuxna.
Under åren 2013–2018 har ensemblen samarbetat i ett europeiskt musikarkeologiskt projekt, där man med arkeologi och forskning försöker återskapa en klangvärld som man tänka sig att det kunde ha låtit under forntiden.
Organiser
Välkomna till södra Sveriges största arkeologiska museum, där du kan
hitta såväl historia, arkeologi och konst som och mynt. I
utställningen Barbaricum finns de fantasieggande fynden från Nordens
största järnåldersstad – Uppåkra. Vägg i vägg visas föremål från Skånes
sten-, brons-, och järnålder. Den vackra myntutställningen rymmer bland
annat medeltidens största myntskatt. Från skånska kyrkor kommer
medeltida helgonskulpturer liksom praktfulla guld- och silverföremål.
