Maja Fjaestad är adjungerad professor vid Luleå tekniska universitet, docent i teknikhistoria från KTH och har även forskat vid Max Planck-Institutet. Hon är affilierad forskare vid Institutet för framtidsstudier, expertkoordinator vid Centrum för hälsokriser på Karolinska Institutet och var tidigare stadssekreterare vid Socialdepartementet. Maja är, tillsammans med Simon Vinge, redaktör för antologin AI & Makten över besluten: vad alla borde veta om algoritmer i offentlig sektor (Volante 2024). Maja är finalist till TechSveriges utmärkelse Årets AI-svensk 2024 som avgörs i november.
