MODET LEVER VIDARE är lika mycket en kärleksförklaring till mode, som en hyllning till Sara Danius och hennes kvinnliga mod. En utställning som inspirerar till reflektion om mode som en symbol för samtidens idéer, rörelser och motsättningar.
I museets privata konstsamling på våning sex, visas Sara Danius privata designerplagg och skor, som auktioneras ut via Tradera med avslut den 8 mars - internationella kvinnodagen. Ett stycke svensk modehistoria – och kanske även kvinnohistoria, som nu ges möjlighet att leva vidare. Alla intäkter från auktionerna går oavkortat till Sara Danius minnesfond.
Sju framstående kvinnliga akademiker är porträtterade av fotografen Angelina Bergenwall i utställningen. Iklädda Sara Danius designerplagg delar de var och en med sig av sin berättelse om sitt arbete och om relationen till en av vår tids modigaste kvinnor.

Gäller för bokad tid (30 min) i hyllningsutställningen MODET LEVER VIDARE samt inträde till muséets utställning i konsthallarna.
Biljett till utställningen MODET LEVER VIDARE är inte återbetalningsbar. På grund av rådande omständigheter måste ett byte av dag/tid genomföras senast 24h innan bokat besök.

Sven-Harrys konstmuseum grundades av byggmästaren Sven-Harry Karlsson och öppnade mars 2011. Huset är ritat av Wingårdh arkitektkontor och inrymmer bland annat konsthallar, museum, 360° takterass med skulpturpark, museibutik och en restaurang. Öppettider: tisdag - fredag kl 11.00-19.00, torsdag kl 11.00-20.00, lördag-söndag kl 11.00-17.00
