MØ Presents: Plæygirl
Efter framgången med sitt debut-evenemang Plæygirl 001 i London tar den hyllade
danska artisten MØ sitt unika koncept ut i Europa. Med start i mars kommer hennes
Plæygirl Tour att förvandla ikoniska arenor till mörka dansfester med punkkänsla, där
individualitet, frihet att uttrycka sig och live-musikens magi står i centrum.
Som en hyllning till MØ:s punkrötter och livescenen i Brooklyn under början av 2010-
talet återskapar Plæygirl klubbupplevelsen med en nordisk twist: svarta klädkoder,
ansiktsmålningar och en anti-klubbmentalitet. Det är en kväll för både outsiders och
kreativa själar, där musik, framträdanden och gemenskap smälter samman i ett rum
där självuttryck får fritt spelrum.
"Plæygirl handlar om att avvisa konformitet och att våga vara den du är, utan
ursäkter. Detta är den värld jag alltid har velat skapa för mina fans – en plats där vi
kan PLÆYA och släppa taget," säger MØ.
Plæygirl Tour äger rum inför släppet av MØ:s efterlängtade fjärde studioalbum,
Plæygirl, som lanseras den 16 maj via RCA/Sony UK. Albumet, som har skapats
tillsammans med producenten Nick Sylvester (The Dare, Channel Tres, Yaeji,
Empress Of), är en introspektiv men lekfull samling låtar som speglar MØ:s resa
genom förnyelse och självinsikt. Den senaste singeln från albumet, "SWEET", i
samarbete med Biig Piig, finns tillgänglig nu.
Den 21 mars kommer MØ till Sverige för en spelning på Guldfabriken i Stockholm.
