Songs of Boda:
Släppte sitt senaste våren 2018. Songs of Boda is the musical platform for singer-songwriter Daniel Skoglund. Hailing from Borås in the south west of Sweden he began playing guitar at the age of nine and music was then forever on his mind. After various educations, finally ending up in Gothenburg he joined old friend Niklas Hedström in his band Rambling Nicholas Heron as a guitarist together with pianist Anders Göransson (Anders Enda Barnet), Peter Roswall (drummer of Christian Kjellvander) and bass player Anders Grahn, all of them originating from Borås.
Songwriting had been a part of Skoglunds creativity since early teen and alongside his musicianship, he began making room for his own compositions under the name of Songs of Boda. The name comes from the part of town where he grew up in Borås and therefor turned out a nickname for him later on. Band member has more or less since the start consisted of, besides Boda himself, drummer Emil Brandqvist (Emil Brandqvist Trio), synth player and background singer Gustav Svedung (Gus By Heart) and again Anders Grahn. Grahn, meanwhile making his name as solid sideman to Swedish phenomenon Daniel Norgren with later led up to Skoglund joining Norgrens band as well. In 2015 Songs of Boda acted as support on Norgrens Scandinavian tour. First album ”Loophole” was released in 2015 (By Heart Rec) and the song
”Where My Hands might Go” gained
good digital numbers and in 2017 SoB
signed with Swedish Indie label Adore
Music where the album is being rereleased.
Second album named ”Iago” will be
released in early 2018.
