Mariam The Believer är Mariam Wallentins soloprojekt. Wallentin är därutöver ena halvan av sång-och-trum-duon Wildbirds & Peacedrums som hon har tillsammans med sin man Andreas Werliin. Hon är också en grundmedlem och kompositör i frijazzstorbandet Fire! Orchestra. Med musikaliska rötter dels i improvisation, dels i pop och soul, har Wallentins karriär korsat ett flertal mångfacetterade territorium; frijazzkonstellationer, samarbeten med allt ifrån Konono no 1 och Deerhoof till symfoniorkestrar, körkompositioner och trumcirklar, till huvudrollen i en kritikerrosad modern opera av noisemusikern Ben Frost. Med sitt kompromisslöst modiga förhållningssätt till musik startade Wallentin Mariam The Believer, för att kunna fokusera sitt uttryck in i ett mer poporienterat projekt.
När Mariam The Believer påbörjade den kreativa processen med sitt andra soloalbum – Love Everything – hade hon en klar och brinnande längtan - att destillera essensen ur musikens grundläggande kraft, att sammanfoga bitar till en helhet, att skänka hopp.
Mariam The Believers andra soloalbum, Love Everything –uppföljaren till 2013 års kritikerrosade debutalbum Blood Donation- är skriven och producerad av artisten själv och utgiven på det egna skivbolaget Repeat Until Death. På Love Everything bjöd Wallentin in en vid skara musiker. Totalt medverkar 15 musiker i låtar som organiskt vrids och expanderas med varje personligt bidrag. Från röstvirtuosen Sofia Jernberg, dronemusikern Oren Ambarchi till frijazzsaxofonisten Mats Gustafsson. Det är en färgstark palett innefattande flera olika genrer och musikaliska uttryck. Slutresulatet och Love Everything´s innersta kärna, är en samling klara popmelodier.
I alla låtar på skivan bor en manifestation av albumets titel – en vädjan om att omfamna möjligheter, att vända sig till kärleken som en konkret lösning. Wallentins kreativa sökande går via stora funderingar om liv och förlust, ensamheten och evighetens mysterium, via kroppen och de omständigheter vi föds och lever med.
