Uppföljarsingeln “Cyklar ni så springer jag” valdes av Spotify ut till “Årets bästa svenska indie 2016” och kritiker menar att Mares gör ”soundtracket till en ny generation som ska erövra nätterna” och att de har ”de rätta ingredienserna för att skapa fantastisk musik”.
Sångaren Fredrik Danfors hyllas för sin känsloväckande och nerviga röst som tillsammans med bandmedlemmarna Mike, Olle, Fredrik och Albin ska göra kompromisslös och äkta musik som får hela svenska folket att dansa.
