William Crighton kombinerar traditionell musik med oväntade experimentella inslag och är med sina isblå ögon, långa mörka skägg och 200 centimeter - både en syn att beskåda och ett sound att uppleva. Crighton är född och uppväxt i trakterna kring Dubbo, nordvästra Australien (Wiradjuri Nation) - ett område som kallas “the Riverina”, vilket i allra högsta grad färgar av sig på låtarnas tematik.
Crighton har sedan det självbetitlade debutalbumet 2016, via majestätiskt mörka uppföljande ‘Empire’ från 2018 har den kritikerrosade singer/songwritern etablerat sig som en av hemlandets främsta låtskrivare och live-artister - som också hunnit med en hel del festivaler både i Europa och Nordamerika. Han har turnerat med Lukas Nelson & the Promise of the Real, CW Stoneking, Dan Sultan och the Beach Boys, och skulle gjort Glastonbury-debut 2020 innan allt tog stopp.
Kommande, tredje, albumet ‘Water and Dust’ ges ut 11 februari 2022, och nya singeln ‘Keep Facing the Sunshine’ finns ute nu
