LYDIA LUNCH är en amerikansk sångerska, poet, författare och skådespelerska. Som 17-åring startade hon bandet Teenage Jesus and the Jerks och blev snabbt ett av New Yorks mest inflytelserika band på det sena 70-talets New Wave-scen. Lydia Lunch bröt ny mark då och har fortsatt utmana med en mängd olika uttryckssätt. Hon har släppt ett 30-tal album och samarbetat med bl.a. Brian Eno, Sonic Youth, Omar Rodriguez Lopez och Nick Cave.
Lydia Lunch kallar själv sina ord för virus, som infekterar. Om folk förstår vad hon pratar om eller inte är inget som bekymrar henne. Konserten hos oss är ett soloframträdande där hon läser poesi som både skyddar oss från och samtidigt får demoner att dansa långt inom oss. Varmast välkomna till en helt oförglömlig afton!
Som support denna fantastiska kväll kommer utsökta bandet NEUTRAL från Göteborg. Neutral består av Sofie Herner och Dan Johansson vars experimentella noisemusik av vardagspoesi och distade gitarrmattor är något helt unikt. Detta vill ni helt enkelt inte missa!
Före, mellan och efter spelar självlysande DJ JAZZ ÄR FARLIGT som består av Elena Smon Wolay, dj, bokare, arrangör, producent - u name it - och med en enorm passion för jazz. Elena spelar sånt du inte visste fanns men inte kan vara utan!
